“You gotta hear this song, it’ll change your life.” This is what Natalie Portman’s character in Garden State tells Zach Braff as she introduces him to the Shins, cementing the importance of the film’s iconic soundtrack. Braff, Portman, and other stars from the 2004 indie hit came together to celebrate Garden State’s 20th anniversary with a concert.

The sold-out show featured performances from The Shins, Laufey, Remy Zero, Colin Hay, Frou Frou, and Iron & Wine, who played the tracks that appeared on the movie’s Grammy-winning soundtrack nearly two decades ago.

“This show stands as one of my proudest moments as a producer,” said Executive Producer Laura Glass, founder of cocolittle media. “Seeing an audience so deeply grateful throughout the night was unforgettable. It was an honor to unite these incredible bands in support of The Midnight Mission.”
