Backstage and Onstage at This Year’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival

Every year since 2018 — except for 2020, thanks to the pandemic — the Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park, N.J., has become a destination for East Coast music nuts. Last year’s celebratory set by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band made major headlines, but the festival has also featured headline sets over the years by Pearl Jam, Brandi Carlile, Patti Smith, Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Stevie Nicks, and Noah Kahan. This year’s lineup, held Sept. 13 and 14, featured a similarly eclectic slew of acts, all cavorting in the Jersey shore sun.
